Radiology - Xrays
Radiography is painless, safe and completely non-invasive
Radiographs (Xrays) - Many things can be checked from an Xray including kidney and heart size, stomach, lung capacity, cancer screening or broken bones and teeth.

By using our vet radiology service it gives us information about your pet that we could never see by just looking at them.
Our advanced in-house veterinary radiology features high-tech equipment it allows us to perform many lab services in-house. Most services we can perform in our Florence Animal Hospital Laboratory.

Radiology Services
Digital X-Rays
With digital X-rays, we can produce images of your pet's bones and internal organs.
Digital Radiographs, X-rays

We utilize digital radiography with our full sized X-ray machine.

This is a valuable diagnostic tool in veterinary medicine which can be used to evaluate almost any body part; including the heart, lungs, stomach, bones and teeth.

This gives our vets at Florence Animal Hospital information about your pet that we could never see by just looking at them.
Digital Radiographs, X-rays
Radiography is painless, safe and completely non-invasive.
X-rays allow our veterinarians evaluate the muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular (cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. We’ll use this fast and painless diagnostic technique to check for any abnormalities or inconsistencies within your pet’s body so that we can address them in a timely and effective manner.
Ultrasound Examinations
Ultrasound
As with radiographs, our veterinarian can also use the ultrasound machine to see internal organs, and their consistency, that we wouldn't be able to see by just looking at your pet.

An Ultrasound doesn't use radiation; it uses high frequency sound (ultrasound) waves to create an image.

Internal Medicine
Preventive Healthcare, In-House Diagnostics
As humans, when we are sick, we have the ability to go to the doctor, to explain what’s wrong and to receive the appropriate treatment.

When our animals become ill, or have suffered an injury, however, it’s much more challenging to figure out what’s wrong.

Because pets can’t speak, they can’t tell us what’s bothering them, where it hurts or what their symptoms are.

Laboratory equipment allows our experienced doctors get a glimpse below the surface of the skin and learn exactly what’s happening inside your pet’s body so we can quickly and accurately diagnose and treat whatever is ailing them, improving the chances of a positive outcome.
