Dr. Ryan James
Dr. James was born and raised in neighboring Darlington, SC.
He started working at Hartsville Animal Hospital in the summer of 2006 as a vet assistant. He attended college at Clemson University from 2004-2008, and remains an avid Tigers fan.
He went to vet school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, which is located on the tiny island nation of St. Kitts from 2009-2011. He then attended Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine for a year of clinical training from 2011-2012.
He enjoys spending time with his great wife Kelsey, and they are currently expecting twins. His favorite hobbies include running Teal in AKC hunt tests, fishing, and horseback riding.
He has three dogs, a border collie mix named Rho, and a Pitt bull named Case, and a Golden retriever named Teal. He also has two horses named Koozie and Rip, and a cat named Reba. - ❤️

Dr. Tochiki was born in Lima, Peru but moved to Charlotte, NC when he was 8 months old. He attended High Point University where he captained the men’s soccer team and earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry.
He worked as a veterinary technician for Miller Animal Hospital in Matthews, NC before moving to St. Kitts, West Indies to attend Ross University for veterinary school. He spent a year of clinical training at The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine and then returned to Charlotte.
Kenzo worked as a veterinarian at Miller Animal Hospital before joining Hartsville Animal Hospital in early 2014.
Dr. Kenzo currently lives in Hartsville with his two dogs Irie and Marty. He is happily married to his wonderful wife, Caitlin.

Dr. Ashleigh Colon
Dr. Ashleigh Colon was born and raised in Jamesville, NY. She attended Coastal Carolina University, where she received a degree of bachelors in Biology. She moved to the small island of St. Kitts to attend vet school at Ross University and completed her clinical year at Auburn University.
Ashleigh graduated in 2019 and started an Equine-only internship. After her Equine internship, she decided to look for mixed animal veterinary employment, and that is when she started with Hartsville Animal Hospital.
Ashleigh has a cat named Ottley, her island souvenir, and a dog, named Nova who she acquired while working at Hartsville Animal Hospital. She enjoys spending time kayaking, hiking, traveling, reading, and she has a strong love for Syracuse Orange basketball. - ❤️

Bri is from Cheraw, SC. She loves going to the beach and has 4 dogs and 2 cats. Some weekends she’s found doing drills at her National Guard unit. In her free time, you can find her going to spend time with her family or traveling.
Cassidy Mahoney
Cassidy grew up in Florence and is a graduate of Francis Marion University. She is currently in the process of applying to veterinary school. Her family has four cats and two dogs, including her pride and joy, Ari.
Lindsey Matthews
Lindsey is from Johnsonville, SC. She is currently attending Francis Marion University. She has 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a hamster named Cheeks. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and her animals.
Breeane Hillyerd
Bree was raised in Pamplico, SC. She loves spending time with her family and animals. She has two horses, one goat, four dogs, and nine cats. In her spare time, you can find her at the baseball field or outside.
Kaci Anderson
Kaci is from Turbeville, SC. She has been in the vet field since 2017 and joined the FAH family in 2022. She has a passion for shelter medicine, TNR programs, and you can even catch her with the occasional foster every once in a while.
She has two handsome little boys who love animals just as much as she does. She has five dogs, a Lab named Jackson, three Australian Cattle Dogs (Sailor, Rooster, & Aleu) and a terrier mix named Lily! She also has five cats, Ivey, Sid, Chi Chi, Sarai & Buckwheat. In her spare time she enjoys going on long walks with her husband and their heelers and spending time with her boys, the lake being her favorite place to take everyone.
She loves every animal that walks in the door but she especially likes seeing powder sugared seniors, and heelers of course!
