Your First Visit
The first visit will allow us to get to know each other better, check your pet's health and start preventative care to prevent against future illnesses.

You can ask our veterinarians any questions you may have about your pet!
We will work with your pets’ unique needs to make the visit an enjoyable time here.
Payment Options
We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Checks (with a valid ID, we use Tele-check), Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and other credit. We also accept pet insurance from most insurance companies.
Before Your First Visit
Please gather any medical, vaccine and adoption records you may have for your pet.

We understand a new environment can be stressful for any pet, regardless of age. So we ask that you please keep your pet on a leash or in a carrier while visiting the hospital.

If your pet is shy or feels stressed around other pets, please let us know so that we can help.
During Your First Visit
During your pet's first visit, your veterinarian will do a head-to-tail exam and check your pets overall health, including the skin and coat, eyes and ears, teeth and gums, heart, lungs and other vital organs.

We will also check your pet for fleas, ticks and other external parasites.
Our staff will start your visit off by asking some general core questions about lifestyle, diet, your pets activity, medical and vaccine history.

After that information is gathered the doctor will come in and start the examination with the support staff member and you the owner.

From there a treatment plan will be created and presented to you for review, and approve. Then the treatments will be performed.
During your first visit this is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your pet's breed.

Our vet will explain any hereditary conditions that may not always be obvious, early detection is important.

This is also great time to ask for any recommendations or tips about your pets health care, training and feeding.

Once your visit is completed our support staff will direct you back to the reception area where the reception staff will finalize your visit and schedule any necessary follow-up visits for your pet, before you and your pet leave.

Preventive care can help your pet live a longer and healthier life.
